Saga Dance Academy being affiliated with prestigious Pracheen Kala Kendra University in Chandigarh, opens doors for its students to pursue higher certifications in this classical dance form. Students are allowed to take exams at their will and aim towards obtaining a diploma if they wish to. Saga also provides an opportunity for the students to perform in its annual recitals and other occasions as they arise.
Our Courses
Beginner
This Kathak beginner’s course is a step-by-step lesson created. It could lead students through an online class that will lay the foundation for their journey towards Indian classical dance.
Classes:
Beginner I
- Age group : Kids ( 5years to 15 years)
Class timings: Mondays (6:00pm to 7:00pm) - Age group : Adults ( 16 years onwards )
Class timings: Wednesday (6:30pm to 7:30pm
Beginner II
- Age group : Kids ( 5years to 15 years)
Class timings: Tuesdays (6:00pm to 7:00pm) - Age group : Adults ( 16 years onwards )
Class timings: Thursdays (6:30pm to 7:30pm)
Intermediate
The lessons taught in the beginner’s course are expanded upon in this course. The students are taught the peculiarities of Kathak at this stage, offering them a unique and sophisticated view of the art form. Step by step, the learner might progress to the next level of their Kathak experience.
